BIOGRAPHY

Lisa McCaul, the business lead for the Creative and Digital Industries School in Belfast Met, brings over two decades of experience in fostering the growth of Northern Ireland SMEs. 

Before joining The Met, she worked extensively in business account management at Ulster Bank, where she launched the Ulster Bank Boost SME support programme in 2017. 

Lisa works closely with businesses to evaluate their training needs and develop bespoke solutions. She understands the critical role of continuous upskilling and reskilling in driving innovation and economic growth. 

Currently, Lisa oversees customised training and upskilling programs through Skill Up, Skills Focus, and the Minister’s new Skills Fund. 

Additionally, she facilitates funding to enhance innovation and competitiveness through Innovate Us and Innovation Vouchers.

Belfast Met aims to significantly enhance the economic and social prosperity of Belfast and beyond by providing education and skills for work to its people, employers, and communities.
