Gemma studied Textile Art, Design & Fashion at Ulster University before working in buying and design roles within the fashion industry for nearly a decade and later as a disability adviser, she recognised the glaring lack of accessibility. Motivated by this, she founded WearMatter, aiming to create fashionable, functional and comfortable clothing for people with disabilities.
